Crit masters
Photographers who will review your edit properly.
A vote and a written note on every frame, then a review of the work as a whole. Every master here has been through the same application, reviewed by a person.
We have sat on both sides of this. Some of us have curated other people's work and some of us have been the one whose work was being curated. It is a hard step and it is the one that decides the final selection, which is why it is the thing we charge for.
Free during the beta Every review here is free until December 31, 2026.

from €10.00I am a street photographer with a particular interest in composition, geometry, human behavior, and the unexpected relationships that emerge within a frame. I believe a strong photograph should offer more than visual appeal. It should reveal something, create tension, or invite the viewer to look beyond the obvious. When evaluating photographs, I focus on the relationship between form and content, the importance of timing, and whether each element contributes to the image. I also pay close attention to sequencing, visual consistency, and how individual photographs work together as a body of work. I believe good criticism requires honesty, observation, and the ability to explain why an image succeeds or fails. My goal is not to impose my personal taste, but to understand what the photographer is trying to achieve and evaluate how effectively the work communicates that intention. What I offer is an independent, thoughtful, and constructive perspective, without empty compliments or unnecessary harshness. I want photographers to recognize both the strengths and weaknesses of their work, discover overlooked possibilities, and develop a clearer understanding of their own photographic voice. For me, good criticism is not about judging the photographer. It is about taking their photographs seriously.
